Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Policy explains when a Manga Clinic order can be cancelled and when a refund is available.
EFFECTIVE DATE · AUGUST 12, 20261. Acceptance decision
Manga Clinic will notify you whether your project is accepted or declined within 3 business days after submission and payment.
If Manga Clinic cannot accept your project because of availability, scope, content, language, conflict of interest, suitability, or another operational reason, the order will be cancelled and the amount paid for that review will be refunded in full.
2. Customer cancellation before editorial work begins
For this Policy, “editorial work begins” means the point at which the assigned editor begins the substantive review of your manuscript. Administrative intake, payment processing, and the acceptance check do not themselves constitute the start of substantive editorial work.
If you request cancellation before that point, Manga Clinic will provide a full refund. Contact [email protected] as soon as possible and include the email address used for the order.
3. After editorial work has begun
Once substantive editorial work has begun, the order is generally non-refundable because editorial time has been reserved and work is being performed specifically for your manuscript. This does not limit any refund or remedy required by applicable law.
4. After delivery
After the agreed editorial report has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable except where required by law or where Manga Clinic has failed to provide the agreed service.
5. Page-count or scope problems
If the manuscript exceeds the selected plan limit or materially differs from the information submitted, Manga Clinic may ask you to reduce the review scope, pay an agreed difference, or cancel the order. If no revised arrangement is agreed before substantive editorial work begins, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
6. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you believe you were charged twice or charged an incorrect amount, contact Manga Clinic promptly. Confirmed billing errors will be corrected.
7. Failure to deliver
If Manga Clinic becomes unable to provide the agreed review, Manga Clinic will cancel the undelivered service and provide an appropriate refund, including a full refund where no substantive review has been delivered.
8. How to request cancellation
Email [email protected] with your name, order email address, selected plan, and cancellation request. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
9. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
